What up wake boarders and wake skaters!!! Yankmeister Winch Co. Is all about
making winching more obtainable to the average person. I started to build
winches about 3 years ago when I saw all the possibilities that it offered.
Then I realized that most companies out there were charging way too much for
something that is supposed to simplify and reduce the cost of wakeboarding/skating.
So I decided I would start selling the winch I designed to the masses at an
affordable price. What I have come up with is a winch that is simple in design
but also tuff as hell. I build the frames out of galvanized steel and then
paint them with Valspar Truck and Trailer enamel. They fit into a 2 inch receiver
or you can stake it to the ground. For the power train we use a copy of a
11 Horsepower Honda motor. For the drive train we use a Comet Centrifugal
clutch and a number 41 Chain. For rope we use 7/64 inch Amsteel Blue. This
rope has a strength of 1400 pounds. It pull at speeds up to 24mph and can
deep water start a 235 pound rider on a wake skate. Here at Yankmeister we
